Submissions guidelines:
DEADLINE: JUNE 10, 2024
Screening: Animation/video - 5 second loops up to 10 minute shorts, made within the last 3 years. Non commercial/Non Profit. Must be Chicago/Chicagoland artist. GIFs and extra short pieces will be edited as a montage for the screening if selected.
Contributions don’t necessarily have to be video or animation. The spirit of Moonlighters is celebrating our passions. If you’re a musician let’s cut the intro to your tunes, make pottery? Let’s fill the space with your work! Want to help with the title sequence or branding? Nice.We have so many cool talented artists in our community but we spend most of our time working tirelessly to give it all away to tech companies and banks so let’s make some fun stuff for the fun of it. All that said, please note that Moonlighters is a micro-fest, meaning we do have to curate a very small selection and some entries will not fit into our program.
